Stephanie Jarmak is a planetary scientist who recently imaged the asteroid Psyche with the James Webb Space Telescope. She will be joining the NASA Science Explorer team in the fall and support open science initiatives as their Project Scientist for Planetary Science. She has an asteroid named after her (see above), does backyard astrophotography, and happens to be my friend from (our really awesome) high school for the arts (which she keeps up!).
